Veggie and Plant Talk/Sale and Farm Stand

Discover the beauty of plants and the health benefits of vegetables this spring at Triton College’s annual Veggie and Plant Talk and Sale, hosted by the Horticulture Department. Events will be held every Thursday starting May 1.  

Event schedule:

·      Thursday, May 1 – Annual Plant Talk, 11 a.m.-1 p.m., Botanical Garden Area

·      Thursday, May 8 – Annual Plant Sale, 11 a.m.-2 p.m., between A and B Building

·      Thursday, May 15 – Veggie Plant Talk, 11 a.m.-1 p.m., Botanical Garden Area

·      Thursday, May 22 – Veggie Plant Sale, 11 a.m.-2 p.m., between A and B Building

·      Thursday, May 29 – Perennial Plant Talk, 11 a.m.-1 p.m., Botanical Garden Area

The Horticulture Department is also hosting a Farm Stand every Thursday beginning June 5, from 11 a.m.-2 p.m., located between the A and the B Buildings, rain or shine. The Farm Stand will run through September 25. Flowers, herbs and produce grown by Triton students, staff, faculty, and community volunteers will be available for purchase. Cash, checks and credit cards are accepted.
