Davia D’Alessandro of Norridge chose Triton College for its affordability, quality education and convenience. She was also drawn to the smaller class sizes, which provided a more personalized learning environment.

“Triton made the transition from high school to college easy for me,” said D’Alessandro. “I love this school for the high-quality education.”

Thanks to the support and resources available to D’Alessandro, she excelled at Triton. She takes great pride in her numerous accomplishments, including earning a place on the President's List and becoming a member of the Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) Honors Society, all while maintaining a perfect 4.0 GPA.

Graduating in May with a degree in accounting, D’Alessandro credits the college’s Transfer Center with guiding her in exploring four-year colleges and financial options. She is especially grateful to Ian Torres for his guidance and encouragement.

“Ian inspired me to apply to my ‘reach’ schools,” she said.

D’Alessandro encourages current students to maintain their GPA and take advantage of Triton’s resources, such as the Library, to support their academic success.

“Utilize all the resources that you can,” she advised.

Looking ahead, D’Alessandro aspires to expand her tanning business, Tanned and Dangerous, and pursue a career as a serial entrepreneur. With the tools she received from Triton, she feels that anything is possible.

“I want to maintain my business profile,” she said. “I know my goals are reachable.”
